The long awaited graphic novel, "Hat Check
Kelly: Streets of Evangeline" has been completed. Author/artist
JJE McManus took over a year and a half to complete the 216 page book.
Incorporating the talents of dozens of 3D artists and designers, HCK:SoE
is the largest project ever undertaken and completed by an active member
of the 3D Graphics Community.
"Hat Check Kelly: Streets of Evangeline" is the second installment of the acclaimed mystery series begun with the web published novella "Hat Check Kelly: Famous Long Ago". Set in the bayous of Louisiana and the streets of New Orleans, it is a multi-threaded story of murder and deceit, perception and reality. Using Macintosh computers, Eovia’s Amapi Designer™7 and rendered in e-On's Vue d'Esprit 4, "Hat Check Kelly: Streets of Evangeline" is a stylized impression of the deep south that retains all the brooding atmosphere of the original novella.

Production begins on HCK:OMR..Vue 5 Esprit to be used as the exclusive
rendering environment.Wardrobe DB up and running. Initial shots completed.
